Media personality Radiogad has expressed his view that singer Mr Eazi erred by giving his surname to his wife, Temi Otedola, following their recent wedding.
The wedding sparked discussions after Temi Otedola decided to drop her family name and adopt the surname Ajibade, Mr Eazi’s family name. Speaking in a video posted on his Instagram page, Radiogad argued that the singer would have benefited more if he had taken Temi’s Otedola surname instead.
Radiogad highlighted the influence and stature of the Otedola family, saying, “The biggest mistake Mr Eazi made was giving his surname to Temi Otedola. Mr Eazi na you suppose collect Temi Otedola surname. You no know who you marry?”
He continued, “Sometimes a man suppose humble himself, collect surname of a woman especially when you are marrying someone as powerful, influential as Otedola pikin. Mr Eazi if you collect that surname you are doing yourself a favour…”
