Nigerian gospel artist Moses Bliss has shared his disappointment after visa complications caused him to miss a much-anticipated worship concert in Tanzania. The concert, which attracted a crowd of over 60,000 attendees, was part of a series of free worship events across Africa.

In a heartfelt video shared on his Instagram, Bliss revealed that, despite prior assurances from the event organizers, his team was denied entry into Tanzania when they arrived at the airport on October 2. The “Too Faithful” singer explained that their visas had not been processed as expected.

“Hello my family in Tanzania. I’m here in Tanzania right now, I’m not just allowed to come,” he said, visibly upset. “It’s very unfortunate that I couldn’t make it to worship with us today. I heard there were about 60,000 of you who came out. I’m sorry, I did my best.”

Bliss went on to explain that his team had tried every possible avenue to resolve the issue, including reaching out to African governments and even seeking presidential intervention. However, their efforts were in vain.

“We made every contact possible from everywhere around Africa. We even got presidential intervention, talking to different people in government and ambassadors, but we couldn’t get visas,” he lamented.

After being advised to board their flight to Tanzania with the expectation of receiving visas on arrival, the team was again thwarted by immigration authorities upon landing in Dar es Salaam.

“We landed. We’ve been here now for about six hours. No way to go in. The immigration won’t let us in,” Bliss explained. “Apparently, no visa on arrival again for us.”

The singer expressed his deep disappointment, emphasizing the time, resources, and energy invested in the concert, which was intended to be a free event for his Tanzanian fans. He also extended an apology to his supporters, assuring them that he would return to the country in the future.

“It’s very painful because we’ve been praying and looking forward to this event for so long. We’ve spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to make this event absolutely free for you to just come and worship the Lord Jesus with us,” he said. “I did everything within my power to be with you guys tonight to worship Jesus with you. They didn’t let us in.”

Bliss ended his message on a note of hope, telling his Tanzanian fans, “You were not at fault. You came out in numbers, ready for God, and that moves me deeply. I owe you not just an apology, but a promise—by God’s grace, I will return.”
