At a public hearing on constitutional review held in Kano on Thursday, 24 July 2025, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso raised concerns over the Federal Government’s distribution of national resources.
He cautioned that the current allocation appears heavily skewed towards one region, potentially neglecting other parts of the country.
Kwankwaso stated, “We support infrastructure development across Nigeria, but when resources are disproportionately directed to one area while others are overlooked, it undermines fairness and national unity.”
He urged the government to adopt a more balanced approach to ensure equitable development for all Nigerians.
