The Governor of Plateau State, Barr. Caleb Mutfwang, on Monday paid a high-profile visit to the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda Goshwe, at his Abuja residence.

The visit, described by insiders as a “brotherly homecoming,” comes on the heels of Governor Mutfwang’s recent formal defection to the APC. The atmosphere was reportedly filled with “cheer and laughter” as both leaders set aside past political friction in favor of a unified front. The meeting took on a broader regional dimension when they were joined by the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Usman Ododo. The National Chairman who described Usman Ododo as true progressives commended him for uniting the state along progressive agenda .

Speaking on the visit, a source within the meeting noted that the discussion was “fruitful and centered on synergy between the state and the party’s national leadership to foster development.”
