Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has reportedly urged former United States President Donald Trump not to ease pressure on Iran, as the ongoing conflict enters its third week.
According to sources familiar with the matter, the Saudi leader has been in frequent contact with Trump during the escalation, encouraging a firm stance against Tehran.
The crown prince is said to have repeatedly advised Trump to “keep hitting the Iranians hard”, signalling Riyadh’s continued concern over Iran’s regional influence and military actions.
Officials say the discussions reflect the close political coordination between the two figures during the conflict, with Saudi Arabia closely monitoring developments as tensions in the region intensify.
The renewed calls come as fighting involving Iranian forces and their adversaries continues to escalate, raising fears of a broader regional confrontation and drawing international attention to the rapidly evolving situation.
