Borussia Dortmund’s dynamic winger Karim Adeyemi has embarked on a pivotal career move by signing with Jorge Mendes’ renowned agency Gestifute, marking a fresh chapter that could redefine his trajectory in world football.

At 23, Adeyemi now aligns with the influential Portuguese agent known for managing elite talents including Cristiano Ronaldo, José Mourinho, and James Rodríguez. “Joining Gestifute is a strategic step to elevate my career and explore new opportunities,” the German-Nigerian forward expressed, reflecting pride in his Nigerian heritage that fuels his unique playing style.

Despite his current Dortmund contract running until 2027, Adeyemi’s new partnership signals readiness for potential high-profile transfers amid growing interest from European clubs like Napoli, Inter Milan, Chelsea, Newcastle United, and Juventus. Dortmund’s valuation of Adeyemi stands at approximately €65 million, with Napoli reportedly contemplating a €40 million bid.

Adeyemi attributes his blistering speed partly to his affinity for Nigerian fufu, stating, “The secret behind my pace is partly my diet Nigerian fufu combined with good genetics. It’s been a blend that helps me outpace defenders on the pitch.”
