Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani has predicted that the state will overwhelmingly support President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election, citing the tangible impact of ongoing and completed federal projects across Kaduna.
Speaking at a public forum in Kaduna, Governor Sani said residents are already feeling the benefits of the Tinubu administration through major investments in infrastructure, security and economic development. He argued that these interventions have strengthened public confidence in the federal government and reinforced the bond between Kaduna voters and the ruling party.
According to the governor, key projects in road construction, rail development, power and social investment programmes have eased daily life for citizens and boosted economic activity in both urban and rural communities. He noted that improved security collaboration between the federal government and the state has also helped to stabilise previously troubled areas, allowing businesses and farming activities to resume.
Governor Sani stressed that Kaduna’s support in 2027 would be driven by performance rather than rhetoric. “People can see and feel the difference. When development is visible and inclusive, political loyalty follows naturally,” he said.
He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to working closely with the federal government to ensure that all projects are delivered on schedule and to maximise their benefits for residents of Kaduna State.
The governor’s comments come amid early political manoeuvring ahead of the 2027 general election, as key allies of the president begin to highlight achievements they believe will shape voter sentiment nationwide.
