The Chief Press Secretary CPS to Governor Hyacinth Alia of Benue State Mr Tersoo Kula has denounced the insinuation making round in some quarters that he referred to the Secretary of the Government of the federation SGF Senator George Akume as mad man.
Mr Kula spoke on Wednesday during first Congress meeting of the Nigerian Union of journalists Nuj presided over by its chairman Comrade Bemdoo Ugber in Makurdi, Benue capital city.
The Government image maker reiterated those making such unguarded utterances against him should bring forward evidence.
Mr Kula made this declaration saying in recent times Tongues are wagging over statement that he utter deregory remarks against his father Secretary to the Government of the federation SGF Senator George Akume is mad man.
He further restated there is moves by some people threatening to institute legal action over the unfounded claims.
” To his chargrin am just wondering aloud stressing when the case goes to court they must produce where he assaulted the Elderstateman and Secretary to the Government of the federation SGF Senator George Akume.
He Therefore solicited support from the men of the estate of the realm to give support to the present dispensation in the State.
Earlier Chairman of the NuJ Comrade Bemdoo Ugber has passed vote of confidence on Mr Tersoo Kula CPS for doing marvelous job and urged him to keep up.
He stressed were totally behind you in the course of discharge of his duty saying no intimidation is capable to hurt him.
