The Youth Wing of the defunct Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) has extolled the patriotic leadership qualities of the late President Muhammadu Buhari and the dependable leadership of President Bola Tinubu.
In a statement signed by Hon. Abubakar Maikudi, National Youth Leader of the defunct CPC, and Prince Sani Ogu Salisu, former Kogi State Hon. Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, the CPC Youth Wing noted that President Buhari’s impact on Nigeria’s history is undeniable. His anti-corruption crusade and efforts to improve security will forever be remembered.
The statement highlighted President Tinubu’s role in honoring President Buhari’s legacy, particularly his presence at the burial ceremony, as a demonstration of his dependability and reliability as a leader. By personally receiving President Buhari’s remains and participating actively in the ceremony, Tinubu showed his commitment to honoring his predecessor’s legacy.
The CPC Youth Wing called on all stakeholders of the defunct CPC to be more committed to the unity and progress of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the ideals of the late President Muhammadu Buhari as a way of keeping his memories alive.
