General Waidi Shaibu, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), recently paid courtesy visits to two former Nigerian Heads of State, General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida and General Abdulsalami Abubakar, in Niger State.
The visits, part of General Shaibu’s ongoing outreach to key military stakeholders, were aimed at strengthening relationships and seeking the wisdom and guidance of the retired generals.
While details of the discussions were not publicly disclosed, the Nigerian Army confirmed that the visits marked an important effort to foster unity and cooperation within the country’s military leadership.
