Peter Obi and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso are inside a closed-door meeting with the leadership of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) in Abuja right now. Seriake Dickson is leading the NDC team.
The discussion forms part of wider consultations. Both men are weighing possible political cooperation ahead of the 2027 elections.
They pulled up around 5:10 pm to cheers from supporters gathered outside. In the past 24 hours each had already released separate statements confirming they were quitting the ADC.
As of filing this report, neither Obi nor Kwankwaso has put out any official word on what came out of the talks.
