The former Social Democratic Party (SDP) gubernatorial candidate, Alhaji Muritala Yakubu Ajaka, paid a courtesy visit to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo at the Government House in Lokoja today.
During the visit, Ajaka officially informed the Governor of his intention to contest for the Kogi East Senatorial seat. Seeking the Governor’s “permission” and blessings to begin his consultations, Ajaka further pledged his total support for the Ododo administration.
He vowed to mobilize resources and grassroots support to ensure Governor Ododo secures a second term in office, signaling a major political realignment in the state.
