Bello, Ododo Visit Ex-Gov Wada to Discuss Kogi’s Progress

Kogi State’s political leaders, including Governor Yahaya Bello and his successor, Governor Ahmed Ododo, recently paid a visit to former Governor Capt. Idris Wada. The meeting took place at Wada’s residence, with a focus on the development and progress of the state.

A statement released by Kingsley Fanwo, the state’s Commissioner for Information and Communications, confirmed the visit and outlined the productive discussions that took place. The leaders talked extensively about Kogi’s economic development and the importance of fostering unity among the state’s leadership for the benefit of its people.

Ex-Governor Wada received his visitors warmly, acknowledging the gesture as one of respect and a demonstration of good leadership. He emphasized that unity among leaders was essential to ensure peace and progress in Kogi. Wada expressed his unwavering support for Governor Ododo’s administration, stating, “Unity among leaders is vital for ensuring peace and advancing Kogi’s development.”

Governor Ododo and Governor Bello also reaffirmed their commitment to inclusive governance during the meeting. They highlighted that the collective interest of the people of Kogi would always take precedence over political differences, further solidifying their commitment to a united state.
