Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi, met in Abuja on Monday at a Night of Tributes and Service of Songs for the late former Agriculture Minister, Chief Audu Ogbeh.
Atiku, who revealed the meeting on X, hailed Ogbeh as a patriot and brilliant mind whose contributions to democracy and public service left lasting marks.
Both Atiku and Obi are widely tipped to seek the presidential ticket of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) ahead of the 2027 polls.
The duo previously ran together under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in 2019, polling over 11 million votes but losing to then-President Muhammadu Buhari of the APC.
