Amaechi Crushes Rivals in Bayelsa ADC Presidential Primary With Landslide Victory

Former Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi, has emerged victorious in the African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential primary held in Bayelsa State, securing a commanding 44,404 votes in a landslide win.

Amaechi defeated former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, who polled 6,570 votes, while businessman Mohammed Hayatu-Deen garnered 939 votes.

The outcome marks a major political upset within the opposition party, with Amaechi tightening his grip on the ADC’s presidential ticket ahead of the next general election.
