Nigeria’s Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has said the African Democratic Congress (ADC) remains in a difficult position despite a recent Supreme Court judgement.
Speaking in the wake of the ruling, Wike suggested that the decision has not resolved underlying issues surrounding the party, insisting that “ADC is still in a big problem.”
While details of the Supreme Court’s pronouncement have yet to be fully dissected in public discourse, the minister’s remarks point to lingering legal and structural concerns within the party.
The development adds another layer of uncertainty for the ADC, as political observers await further clarification on the implications of the judgement and its potential impact on the party’s standing within Nigeria’s political landscape.
