Accident: Engr Sule move to construct flyover in Keffi,condoles emirate,families.

Following the ghasty accident that occurred last week at Keffi round about leaving a scores of persons killed ,Nasarawa State Governor Engineer Abdullahi Sule in a major move has promise that a flyover bridge would be constructed across the round about to curtail incessant automobile crashes .

This the governor said on Saturday when he paid a condolence visit to the Paramount ruler of Keffi Dr Shehu Chindo Yamusa 111 at his palace in Keffi.

Pained the the ugly incident ,Governor Abdulahi Sule posited that the lost of over Twenty people ,especially motor cycle riders was regretted.

” It is unfortunate that when this ugly incident happened we were at Abuja to discussed way forward in the recent tax reform bill ,so I WS not aware ,until upon our return where I saw people gathered and I thought it was the usual accidents around that round about ,because we have had series of such ocurences there ,where we were forced to demolished a building around that round about when it was razed by fire.

” We have put in place different measures likes erection of bumps on that road just to avert accidents but this time around and with the high rate of death that was recorded in just a single period,I did not let you know but I am here with workers to start doing something by that round about,while we approach the federal government to construct a flyover.

” This intend to do even if the federal government will not sponsor but we will do it in order to save lives and motorists plying the road “Governor Sule said.

The emir in his response thank the Nasarawa State Governor for his concern and his swift actions which is not only to people of keffi alone ,but across the state.

Dr Shehu Yamusa111 applauded the governor for taking Nasarawa State above in infrastructure and human capacity building,prayed that as Tue governor continue to put his life line to the growth and progress of the state ,God should protect him.

Earlier , the chairman of Keffi local government area revealed that those recorded death in the accident were over 20 with manynothers injured and recieving treatment in the hospital.
