The movement calls on the lawmaker to intervene, alleging that APC members are being recruited to support opposition parties ahead of the 2027 elections.

A group within the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State has accused a faction of the Audu/Faleke political family of allegedly attempting to weaken President Bola Tinubu’s political structure by recruiting party members to support opposition parties ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The APC Network Movement in Kogi State made the allegation in a statement issued on Friday by its coordinator, Ogungbemi Olusola.

The group alleged that some members of the faction were using the Tinubu Support Group (TSG) platform to persuade APC members to abandon the ruling party and align with opposition forces.

It described the alleged activities as a threat to the party’s unity and its political interests in the state ahead of the next general elections.

The movement also called for the intervention of James Faleke, urging him to address the situation and prevent further divisions within the party’s ranks.

The group’s concerns come as political alignments and preparations for the 2027 elections continue to shape activities within the APC and opposition parties across the country.

However, the allegations remain claims made by the APC Network Movement. The information provided does not include a response from the accused faction or Faleke.

The development highlights the importance of internal cohesion within the ruling party as its members position themselves for the next electoral contest.
