Former presidential aide Hakeem Baba-Ahmed has launched a scathing attack on President Bola Tinubu’s administration, accusing it of failing to guarantee the safety of Nigerians or deliver on long-standing promises to improve electricity supply.

In a strongly worded criticism that has stirred political debate, Baba-Ahmed declared that Nigerians would reject Tinubu’s bid for re-election, insisting that worsening insecurity and persistent power outages have deepened public frustration across the country.

“Tinubu has failed to secure Nigerians and deliver the electricity he promised. We will say a big NO to his re-election,” Baba-Ahmed said, in what many observers see as a direct political warning to both the president and Senate President Godswill Akpabio ahead of future electoral battles.
