Nigeria’s President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has reaffirmed his resolve to press ahead with his political agenda, declaring that he will not relent as the country looks toward the 2027 general elections.

Speaking to members of the “Renewed Hope Ambassadors,” Tinubu reflected on the challenges he faced during both the party primaries and the general election that brought him to power, describing the journey as arduous but decisive.

“With you, it’s a done deal. I won’t give up,” the president said, underscoring his confidence in continued political support. “The primary that got me here was tough. The general election was tough. Now that I’m here in office, we will keep moving forward.”

His remarks come amid early political positioning ahead of the next electoral cycle, as stakeholders begin to mobilise support and consolidate alliances.

Tinubu’s comments signal both a readiness to defend his administration’s record and a determination to maintain momentum despite mounting political and economic pressures in Africa’s most populous nation.
