Nigeria’s President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has pushed back against what he described as attempts by political opponents to intimidate him, insisting he remains undeterred and resolute in his leadership.
Speaking amid rising political tensions, Tinubu dismissed suggestions that he could be pressured into retreating, stating that he has faced similar challenges in the past and emerged stronger.
“Do they think they can scare me off? That is not true. I have been through this before, and if I have to come back again and again, I will do the same thing,” he said.
The president’s remarks come as opposition voices intensify criticism of his administration, reflecting deepening political divisions in Africa’s most populous nation.
Tinubu reaffirmed his commitment to his policies and governance agenda, signaling that he will not be swayed by mounting pressure from rival political groups.
