Rose Idibia, the mother of Nigerian music superstar Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has made a heartfelt plea to Natasha Osawuru, a member of the Edo State House of Assembly, to distance herself from her son.
In a viral video shared on Thursday night, Mrs. Idibia expressed her concern that her son might not be in his right mind due to the ongoing divorce proceedings with his estranged wife, Annie Idibia. She called on the public, particularly mothers in Nigeria, to support her in urging Natasha to “free” 2Baba.
“Good evening, Nigerians. My name is Mrs. Rose Idibia, the mother of 2Baba. This message is for Miss Natasha Osawaru of Edo State. I’m calling on all mothers in Nigeria to help me beg her to free my son,” Mrs. Idibia stated.
She further elaborated on her concerns, saying, “My son is going through a divorce process, and he is clearly not in his right senses now. I know my son well. That is not him. Please Natasha, the beads you put on his hand and on his neck, remove them and free him.”
This plea comes in the wake of rumors circulating online about 2Baba’s recent marriage proposal to Natasha, just days after he publicly announced his divorce from Annie. Mrs. Idibia’s intervention highlights her worries about her son’s emotional state during this turbulent time.
