The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term in office.
The endorsement was unanimously agreed upon at a stakeholders’ meeting held on Tuesday at Victoria Island, Lagos. Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, who initiated the motion, highlighted Tinubu’s significant political legacy, including his tenure as Lagos State’s 12th governor.
The motion was moved by the traditional ruler of Ikorodu, Kabiru Adewale Shotobi, and seconded by Lagos State House Speaker, Mudashiru Obasa. Praising the unity of party members, Sanwo-Olu expressed confidence that the Lagos APC’s decision would resonate beyond the state, reaching Aso Rock and all corners of the nation.
