U.S. President Donald Trump has lauded Nigeria’s First Lady, Remi Tinubu, during the annual National Prayer Breakfast in Washington.
Speaking at the event, Trump described the First Lady as “a Christian pastor at the largest church and a very respected woman,” adding that it was an honour to have her in attendance.
The National Prayer Breakfast, a yearly gathering of political, religious, and civic leaders, offers a platform for faith-based dialogue and international goodwill.
Remi Tinubu, known for her philanthropic and religious work in Nigeria, has increasingly attracted international attention for her dual role as a spiritual leader and the nation’s First Lady.
