Former Sokoto State Governor and Senator, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, has strongly condemned the killing of 17 residents in a bandit attack on a community in Sokoto State, describing the incident as a tragic assault on innocent lives and a grave threat to public safety.
Tambuwal expressed deep sorrow over the attack and extended his condolences to the bereaved families and affected community, urging security agencies to intensify efforts to track down the perpetrators and bring them to justice.
He called for urgent and decisive action to stem the growing wave of insecurity across the region, stressing that citizens deserve protection and the right to live without fear.
The former governor further urged authorities at all levels to strengthen security operations and adopt proactive measures aimed at preventing future attacks, warning that continued violence poses a serious challenge to peace and stability in the state.
