As Nasarawa State move towards 2025 a period where political activities are staged and those seeking to be elected into various political offices tightens their plans via consultations,Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada is already in the lead through a purposeful leadership that it impact spans through human capacity building, infrastructural development and responsive governance.
This, the senator demonstrated at varying levels giving prompt attention to any developmental programme that would better the lot of his people.
Representing Nasarawa West Senatorial District of Nasarawa State at the red carpet chamber of the Nigeria National Assembly,his deserved appointment as Senate Committee Chairman on Public Account speaks volume to his political pedigree as one who has always yarn for dispensing equity,justice and tranquility.
The impact he has made through his God given opportunity to serve as senator representing Nasarawa West Senatorial District are uncountable and can not be matched with any from the zone who has at any point served as senator, house of representative member ,minister or held any position at the national level.
He is the Sarkin Yaki of Keffi ,a tittle bestowed on him by the paramount monarch of Keffi Emirate Council,Dr Shehu Chindo Yamusa111, based on some interventions touching youth employments , community development, educational services,health care services , improved portable drinking water by drilling of boreholes ,rural electrification, empowering farmers, training of women and youth across the Five local government areas that constituted Nasarawa West Senatorial District.
Stretching his good heart and desire for a better Nasarawa State,senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada for want of good governance doled out A million Naira in support of Nasarawa State Students Association NASSA ,who were by the flood in Borno State affected in order to cushion their hardship. As it that was all, in the same vein, Senator Wadada donated six vehicles to leaders of NASSA ease transportation in the campuses,the tertiary institutions included Federal University Lafia , Nasarawa State University Keffi, Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa, College of Agriculture,Science and TechnologyLafia, College of Education Akwanga and Isah Mustapha Agwai Polytechnic Lafia
One can go on and on with records of senator Wadada whose leadership is not restricted within his constituency but his impact spread across the state reaching the Southern Senatorial zone of the state where he was moved for humanity sake and provided succour to distressed persons at Keana and part of Doma LGAs affected by rainstorm.
In a chat with journalists recently,senator Wadada barked at bias leaders who take advantages in diversity instead of uniting the people.
He said a true leader must not be seen to be propagating religious, tribal and regional politics.” Let me state here that all those using religion and ethnicity in politics are enemies of the people and their development” He said.
One of the political vanguard Dr Tanimu Ahmed at a rally in Keffi recently said Nasarawa State would be lucky having Wadada as governor come 2027″ Because over the years records have shown that he is always around his people,doing one thing or the other that can add value to community. This is why any well thinking citizen of this state should join in support of senator Wadada” Tanimu asserted
