Senator Isah Jibrin Echocho has officially launched the grading of the Ajakagwu/Okete road in Dekina Local Government Area, Kogi East. This vital infrastructure project is set to enhance connectivity among local communities, facilitating smoother transportation for residents and boosting trade and commercial activities in the region.
At the flag-off ceremony, His Royal Highness Alh Usman Obaje expressed his gratitude to Senator Echocho for his dedication to revitalizing Kogi East. He highlighted the significance of the road network in restoring the region’s former glory and underscored the positive effects it would have on the local population.
Residents of Ajakagwu and Okete turned out in large numbers to express their heartfelt appreciation for the Senator’s intervention, noting that the improved road will significantly reduce the financial burdens currently faced by the communities.
