The Anambra State Government has demolished a hideout used by kidnappers in its efforts to rid criminal activities out of the South-Eastern state.

It was gathered that the building, which disguises as a hotel, was used to carry out kidnapping and other dubious activities.

The hotel is located along the Onitsha-Owerri Road in Oba, Idemili South Local Government Area of the state.

This was disclosed in a statement on Saturday by the Anambra State New Media on its X (formerly Twitter) account on Saturday.

The government identified the building as Udoka Golden Point Hotel and Suites, also referred to as “La Cruise Hotel.”

It noted that the hotel has over 30 well-partitioned graves.
