The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has reinforced collaboration with the Department of State Services (DSS) to enhance disaster management and emergency response in Kaduna State.
NEMA’s North West Zonal Director, Sani Lokoja, led the delegation which included the Head of Operations Office in Kaduna, Suleiman Muhammad, and other senior staff, on a courtesy visit to the DSS Command in Kaduna.
They were received by the State Director of DSS, Hakeem Abiola.
Abiola commended NEMA’s role in disaster coordination and pledged DSS support through intelligence sharing, security during operations, and measures to strengthen public safety.
He noted that the Service’s mandate includes safeguarding Nigeria’s internal security through intelligence gathering, protective measures, and providing early warning to avert crises.
