Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar paid a courtesy visit to his former boss, Olusegun Obasanjo, on Monday, clarifying that the meeting was not politically motivated. Atiku was accompanied by prominent figures including Senator Liyel Imoke, Senator Aminu Tambuwal, and Senator Abdul Ningi. The visit, which lasted approximately one and a half hours, was described as a friendly meeting with no political discussions taking place.
Atiku emphasized that he was not there to discuss politics and was solely there on a courtesy call. Senator Tambuwal also refrained from commenting on the purpose of the visit.
