The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has released deployment details for prospective corps members in Batch A, marking a key milestone ahead of the commencement of the 2026 service year.
In a statement issued on its official platforms, the scheme announced that eligible candidates can now check their deployment status via the NYSC online portal. The information includes states of deployment and reporting instructions for orientation camps nationwide.
The NYSC advised prospective corps members to log in with their registered credentials to access their call-up information and print their call-up letters when available. The document will contain vital details, including the address of the orientation camp and the date for reporting.
The scheme further urged those deployed outside their states of origin to make adequate travel and accommodation arrangements ahead of the orientation exercise. It also reminded prospective corps members to strictly comply with all guidelines, including health and security protocols, during the mobilisation process.
According to the NYSC, the timely release of deployment details is aimed at ensuring a smooth and orderly orientation programme across all camps. The organisation reaffirmed its commitment to transparency and efficiency in the mobilisation of graduates for national service.
Batch A orientation is expected to commence as scheduled, with the NYSC warning candidates to beware of fraudsters and to rely solely on information from its official communication channels.
