The Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corp have paraded one suspect for house burgling and a cow rustler ,at the Keffi area office in Keffi Local Government Are of Nasarawa State.
Parading the suspects, DSC Jerry Victor the Public Relations Officer NSCDC Lafia command on behalf of the commandant Kabiru Ingawa said one Auwal Sani was arrested at NTA junction on 1st February at about 1 am along with others who are currently on the run.
He the arrest of Auwal was effected by the gallant men of the NSCDC Iya 1 and 2 division in conjunction with a team of Man”O” War in Keffi, when the suspects were burgling a shop in area.
” The prime suspect Auwal Sani a 31 years old is from Kaduna state but residing in Mararaba ,Karu LGA .Auwal Sani an ex-convict gained his freedom barely 2 months ago.
” He is helping the division with necessary information that will lead to the arrest of his gang members” He said
The Public Relations Officer Jerry Victor also told journalists that on 31/1/2025 the men of NSCDC arrested Abdul Ismaila for rustling more than 12 cows from Kwai ,Jaba LGA of Kaduna State.
According to him the suspect was arrested in Nasarawa Local Government of Nasarawa State.He added that the suspect is giving necessary information that is helping the Area Commands while investigation has been intensified to arresting other members of his gang.
” They will all be charged to a competent court of jurisdiction upon completion of investigation as the command will leave no stone unturned in the fight of crime and criminality” He added.
