Nigeria’s Defence Minister, Christopher Musa (rtd), has called for greater national unity in tackling the country’s persistent security challenges, stressing that no individual or institution can overcome the crisis alone.

Speaking on the state of insecurity across the country, Musa said the scale of the challenges demands a collective response from government agencies, communities and citizens alike.

“Nobody can do this alone. The challenges are enormous. We must come together to achieve success,” the minister said.

His remarks come amid ongoing concerns over armed violence, banditry, kidnapping and other security threats affecting several parts of the country.
