Israeli officials say Iran has already begun efforts to restore its ballistic missile capabilities, raising fresh concerns about regional stability despite an ongoing but fragile ceasefire.

Security sources in Israel claim Tehran is moving swiftly to rebuild infrastructure and replenish missile stockpiles damaged during recent fighting, warning that the programme could recover within months if left unchecked.

The warning comes at a tense moment in the Middle East, where a temporary truce between Iran, the United States and Israel has paused weeks of intense conflict but left core disputes unresolved.

According to Israeli assessments, Iran has been accelerating missile production and reconstruction efforts, with some estimates suggesting the country could regain a significant portion of its arsenal in a short time frame.

Satellite imagery and intelligence reports have also indicated ongoing repairs at key missile facilities struck during earlier attacks, signalling what analysts describe as a strategic priority for Tehran.

Iran has not officially confirmed the latest claims, but has previously insisted its military capabilities, including its missile programme, are essential for national defence and deterrence.
