Natasha Condoles Families of Okene Auto Crash Victims

Senator representing Kogi Central, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, has expressed her deepest condolences to the families who lost loved ones in the recent tragic auto crash in Okene, Kogi State. The incident claimed six lives and left five others injured.
In a statement released in Abuja by her Chief Press Secretary, Arogbonlo Israel, Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan described the accident as “deeply disturbing” and conveyed her profound sorrow over the loss of life.
“My heart goes out to the families of the victims and the injured,” she stated. “May the bereaved families find solace and strength during this difficult time, and I pray for the swift and full recovery of those who were injured.”
The Senator also offered prayers for the eternal peace of the departed and comfort for those they left behind.
Underscoring the importance of road safety, Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan urged all road users to be cautious and strictly adhere to traffic regulations to prevent future tragedies.
She further stressed the critical need for enhanced public awareness and education on road safety, particularly targeting commercial drivers, to mitigate the risk of accidents.
Senator Natasha also called upon the relevant authorities to conduct a thorough investigation into the cause of the crash and to implement necessary measures to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.
“The government must prioritize road safety and take concrete actions to ensure that our roads are safe for all users,” Senator Natasha added.
