Kano State Governor has held a high-level meeting with senior leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as speculation intensifies over his imminent defection.

Although details of the meeting were not disclosed, party insiders say the talks were “strategic” and centred on the governor’s possible return to the APC.
