Regina Daniels has publicly revealed her anguish, alleging that her husband, Ned Nwoko, is leveraging her brother’s imprisonment to coerce her into returning to what she describes as an “abusive relationship.”

In a series of emotional Instagram posts early Friday, Daniels broke down in tears, expressing confusion and desperation over the ordeal. Her primary concern is securing the release of her brother, Sammy Ojeagwu, whose detention has taken a heavy toll on her mental health.

“Guys, I am trying. I tried. I feel like I am going crazy. I am losing my mind. I am crying in front of everybody. It is not even making sense. What am I begging for? I do not know,” she wrote.

Daniels revealed the emotional strain she endures daily, saying, “Every time I wake up, I see one thing from my brothers online. Today I hear good news, tomorrow I hear another thing. What is the problem? But I am trying. I will go back.”

She explained her previous silence regarding alleged abuse, emphasizing that she chose not to publicize her suffering. “It is okay to laugh. It is really okay to laugh. What were you guys expecting me to show off? That I was being beaten, that I was sad?” she added.

In a heart-wrenching declaration, she stated, “I give up! What was my brother’s offense? Fighting for his baby sister because his in-law would always beat her up? I actually accorded the Nigerian police some respect, but shame on you all! It’s obvious the highest bidder always wins.”

“I’m crippled. I will return if that’s the only way—do whatever he says, get injected to be like a zombie, be locked up and violated in the house. Only then will my brother return,” she continued. “By law, there is no tangible case against Sammywest! Ned Nwoko is bigger than the whole of Nigeria; that’s what this means. We lost, or rather, I lost.”

This deeply personal conflict came to light following a viral video of Daniels accusing Nwoko of domestic violence. Nwoko responded by alleging his wife struggled with substance abuse. Tensions escalated when Daniels accused Nwoko of orchestrating her brothers’ arrests.

The case has sparked public concern. Actress Mercy Johnson called for Sammy’s release, questioning the legitimacy of his detention. The family has also alleged attempts to remand Sammy to a correctional facility in Keffi.
