On Tuesday, Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, sent warm congratulations to Nana Shettima, wife of the Vice-President, as she marked her 50th birthday with flair. In a heartfelt message, Mrs Tinubu praised Nana’s unwavering dedication, saying, “As you hit the fabulous 50 today, I join your husband, children, grandchildren, family, and friends in celebrating you! Your life shines as a beacon of service, uplifting not just your cherished Borno State but all of Nigeria. Working alongside you has been a joy and a perfect partnership. Thank you for being an exceptional ally. Here’s to many more years of glowing health, peace, and happiness. Happy 50th, Nana!”
Nana Shettima currently serves as the deputy chairwoman of the Renewed Hope Initiative, the First Lady’s flagship national project.
Mrs Tinubu also extended her congratulations to Bareehu Gbenga-Ashafa, the managing director of the Federal Housing Authority and former Lagos East senator, on his 70th birthday. “I warmly celebrate with you, your family, and well-wishers on this splendid 70th birthday milestone,” she said. “Your remarkable leadership, public service, and contributions to legislative progress are truly inspiring. May Almighty God bless you with strength and wisdom as you continue to serve our great nation. Wishing you many more years of vibrant health, joy, and fulfilment. Happy 70th Birthday!”
