A Magistrate Court in Wuse, Abuja, has ordered the remand of two brothers of Dunamis International Gospel Church Senior Pastor Paul Enenche, along with former pastor Abraham Daniel, at the Keffi Custodial Centre in Nasarawa State.
The brothers, Mr. Enenche Enenche and Alexander Enenche, along with Abraham Daniel, were taken into custody following a police invitation they honored. Reports indicate that they were detained after being summoned for questioning related to allegations of cyberbullying and criminal defamation against Pastor Paul Enenche.
Initially arrested on January 7, 2025, the trio was released on bail the following day as an agreement was reached to resolve the matter amicably. However, upon reporting to the Force Intelligence Department (FID) on January 10 and January 13, they were detained once more.
Sources reveal that the police secured a remand order from the Magistrate Court, leading to their transfer to Keffi Prison. Details regarding the length of the remand and the presiding Magistrate remain undisclosed.
Legal representatives are expected to file a fundamental rights application in response to the court’s decision.
