Collaborating for Development: CBN Governor Hosts Finance, NNPC Officials in Abuja

The Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Mr. Olayemi Cardoso, on Thursday, February 5, 2026, hosted the Minister of State for Finance, Dr. Doris Nkiruka Uzoka-Anite, and the Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited, Engr. Bashir Bayo Ojulari, at the CBN Head Office in Abuja.

 

Collaborating for Development: The Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN),Mr. Olayemi Cardoso, hosted the Minister of State for Finance, Dr. Doris Nkiruka Uzoka-Anite, and the Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited, Engr. Bashir Bayo Ojulari, along with senior executives from the Federal Minisry of Finance and NNPC Ltd., at the CBN Head Office in Abuja,on Thursday, February 5, 2026.

Senior executives from the Federal Ministry of Finance and NNPC Limited also attended the meeting, which was convened to strengthen collaboration between the country’s key monetary, fiscal and energy policy institutions. Officials said the gathering was aimed at identifying areas of cooperation to advance national development objectives.

The meeting underscores ongoing efforts to deepen coordination among Nigeria’s central bank, fiscal authorities and the national oil company as the nation navigates macroeconomic management, revenue mobilization and investment priorities.
