The African Democratic Congress (ADC), Ondo State, is set to witness a major political gathering tomorrow, Thursday, September 24, 2026, as the party’s Presidential Candidate and former Vice President of Nigeria, His Excellency Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, GCON, storms Akure for the official joining of Balogun Eyitayo Jegede, SAN, and other prominent political leaders into the ADC.
Alhaji Atiku Abubakar will be joined by national leaders of the ADC and prominent political leaders and stakeholders from the nooks and crannies of Nigeria, as the party welcomes Jegede, SAN, and his supporters into its fold.
The event is expected to be a significant moment for the ADC and its growing movement for a Nigeria where government policies translate into improved living conditions for ordinary citizens.
The ADC and Alhaji Atiku Abubakar have consistently spoken about the need to reduce the economic pressure on Nigerians, particularly the burden created by high energy and transportation costs.
