ABUJA — The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially and finally disqualified the former Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, from contesting the Kogi Central Senatorial District primary election.
According to an official party document obtained from the office of the APC National Organizing Secretary, the party’s Appeal Committee upheld the decision to disqualify Bello, effectively ending his current bid for the red chamber.
The Cleared Aspirants
With the former governor out of the race, the APC has cleared the following candidates to contest the Kogi Central senatorial ticket:
• Momoh Yusuf Obaro
• Mallam Ibrahim Yakubu Adoke
