The Bokayen groups, a faction rooted in mystical beliefs, have vowed to deploy their so-called “demonic forces” against any nation perceived to be undermining Niger’s sovereignty. The pledge was made during an interview addressing Niger’s political situation and allegations made by General Abdourahamane Tiani, the country’s military leader.
General Tiani has accused certain countries of collaborating with France to destabilize Niger, including allegations of planting individuals referred to as “Nigerian macarkar,” a term locally interpreted as infiltrators or provocateurs.
The Bokayen groups stated their readiness to defend Niger against what they described as foreign interference and subversion.
The groups condemned actions they perceive as attempts to undermine Niger’s leadership and stressed their alignment with General Tiani’s efforts to preserve the country’s independence and integrity.
