Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed has dismissed Ibrahim Gambo Galadima, the commissioner for internal security and home affairs, in what the government described as a “minor” cabinet reshuffle.
The decision was announced on Monday in a statement issued by the governor’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mukhtar Gidado.
According to the statement, Galadima’s removal forms part of a “minor change in the composition” of the Bauchi State Executive Council, with the dismissal taking immediate effect.
No official reason was given for the commissioner’s sack.
The governor thanked Galadima for his service to the state and wished him well in his future endeavours.
The development marks the latest adjustment within Mohammed’s cabinet as his administration continues efforts to reposition key sectors of governance in Bauchi State.
