Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has emerged victorious in the African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential primary election held in Taraba State, securing a commanding 48,523 votes in a decisive show of political strength.
Atiku defeated former Rivers State Governor Rotimi Amaechi, who garnered 25,150 votes, while businessman Mohammed Hayatu-Deen trailed with 8,369 votes.
The outcome further cements Atiku’s dominance within the party ranks in Taraba, as momentum continues to build ahead of the next phase of the presidential race.
