The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has officially commenced a 90-day nationwide initiative for Membership Mobilisation, Revalidation, and Registration (MMRR).
In a significant organizational move, the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) has also approved and released the provisional schedule for its upcoming congresses and a non-elective national convention.
According to a statement issued by the National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, on Saturday, the decisions were ratified during the NWC’s meeting held on November 27, 2025, and are in full compliance with the party’s constitution.
The congresses for electing delegates at the Polling Unit, Ward, and Local Government levels are provisionally scheduled to take place between January 20 and 27, 2026.
These activities will culminate in a non-elective National Convention, which is set to be held in Abuja in February 2026.
The circulars formalizing the schedule were issued by the party’s National Secretary, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola. This structured timeline is seen as a critical step in strengthening the party’s grassroots structures and preparing for future electoral contests.
