The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has threatened to embark on industrial action across 11 state-owned universities over the non-payment of outstanding allowances.
The union accused the government of failing to honour agreed financial obligations to its members despite repeated engagements, warning that continued delays could force lecturers to withdraw their services.
