The Director of the Abuja School of Social and Political Thought, Dr Sam Amadi, says former Deputy Senate President Ovie Omo-Agege remains a formidable political force in Delta State and could secure victory even under a different political platform.
Amadi described the development as a major setback for the All Progressives Congress (APC), warning that the ruling party in Delta State risks losing political ground if internal divisions persist.
“This represents a significant loss for the APC,” Amadi said, adding that Omo-Agege is likely to emerge as a strong opposition figure capable of mounting serious resistance against the party in the state.
His comments come amid growing political realignments and uncertainty within the APC ahead of future electoral contests in Delta State.
