The All Progressives Congress (APC) will screen aspirants vying for national elective offices on Tuesday, as part of preparations for the party’s upcoming national convention.
Isa Yuguda, secretary of the screening committee, announced the schedule in a statement on Sunday. The exercise is set to take place at the Transcorp Hilton in Abuja.
“All aspirants are required to attend in person and arrive promptly with all relevant supporting documents for verification,” the statement read.
In a related development, the party on Monday reaffirmed its commitment to the existing zoning arrangement for National Working Committee (NWC) positions. Felix Morka, APC national publicity secretary, advised aspirants to strictly adhere to the formula, which is outlined in the party’s official schedule of activities for 2026.
The APC’s national convention is scheduled to hold later this year, marking a key step in the party’s preparations for the 2027 general elections.
