The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has announced a strong financial performance, recording a revenue of ₦4.269 trillion for the month of September 2025 and a profit after tax of ₦216 billion.
In a statement released by the company, it also confirmed that a total of ₦10.073 trillion was remitted to the Federation Account between January and August 2025, reinforcing its position as a key contributor to national revenue.
NNPCL further provided an update on the progress of the Ajaokuta-Kaduna-Kano (AKK) Gas Pipeline Project, revealing that construction has now reached 88% completion. The strategic project is expected to significantly boost domestic gas utilisation, improve power generation, and support industrial growth across the country once completed.
The company described the figures as a reflection of improved operational efficiency, greater transparency, and ongoing reforms aimed at repositioning the national oil company for global competitiveness.
